5 Ways To Convert More Visitors Into Sales

Posted by Ditto Rahmat | September 2, 2008 .

Even though you may get countless visitors on a daily basis, if you won’t be able to transform them into successful purchases, your hard work will be useless.  Here are five methods you can choose to implement to dramatically ,ultiply your web conversion rate.

1.    Scorchingly interesting headlines.  Internet users have become impatient in these days.  It’s very easy for them to visit another web page whenever they meet something despisable in your own web page.  The trick lies in winning their interest fast.  This can be achieved with cleverly-written headlines.  Headlines, you see, are the first things that your visitors will see when they load up your page.  If they’ll like what they’ll see, they’ll give your web page a shot.  If not, they’ll abandon your page just as fast as they arrived.

2.    Easy-to-read copy.  It’s a misconception that with the expanding reach of the internet, more and more users will be used to reading.  The opposite, however, is what happened.  People easily get tired reading, what with the cumulative number of information they are asked to digest with each and every session of online browsing.  The trick is in simplifying things for them to read your sales page.  Use numberings and bullets as much as possible.  Guarantee your copy easy to scan.  Prepare your sales pafe for an impatient audience and you’ll be fine.

3.    Benefit-oriented selling.  Your prospects will buy leaning on emotions and justify leaning on logic.  Don’t forcefully advertise the technical specs of your product for your prospects to digest.  Instead, tell them of the benefits they can gain from what you’re selling.  Inform them what they stand to gain.  This is a surer method of stirring up their desire to acquire your product.  Share the features later on, as your customers will need such information to justify the purchase they will be planning to make.

4.    Urgency marketing.  Compel your prospects to purchase from you as soon as possible.  Don’t allow them to second guess their decision, as you might lose some sales.  Use one time offers, special offers, and many other time-sensitive models to bait them into buying your product immediately.

5.    Use interactive tools in your sales page.  Your sales letter doesn’t have to be a static, simple delivery of your offer.  You can implement interactive tools that will compel your visitors to make an emotional investment on your enterprise.  Ask for their thoughts.  Better yet, supply them with multiple choices for possible answers.  Include calculator scripts that they can use.  Instill in their minds that they are a part of the sales page.
