Link Building Campaign - Does Article Marketing Still Work?
Image via Wikipedia3 weeks ago, I posted 3 articles at EzineArticles in hoping to generate more exposure and gain backlinks to my gadget review blog. My article marketing strategy is listed as follows :
- Research articles on Gistweb using my chosen keywords (which was obviously the brand and product name)
- Do some massive rewriting .
- Optimize the author bio-box with anchor text using my targeted keywords (which were specific product name and generic keyword). In case you didn’t know how to optimize the author bio-box with anchor text, here’s how you do it –> <a href=”insert your url”>insert your keyword</a>
Currently, the submitted articles have been viewed 75 times and generated 25 clicks. Not quite what I was hoping for, though it’s not bad for a 10 minute job on rewriting a single article :). Hopefully, it can continue to generate more traffic in the future.
Conclusion
I’m still getting little traffic using this article marketing thing. Can anyone help ? Please share your experience using article marketing in the comment below.
