Internet Business Tips – How To Start Your Internet Business The Right Way!

Is starting an Internet business an idea that appeals to you?

To earn a lot of money online you need to do two things – find a product that sells and find people to help you sell it. Lets now look at how best you can do this…

1. Recruit an affiliate army that sells your product day and night

The first question you need to ask yourself if you really want to make it big is – how do I get affiliates to promote my products? There are two main ways to persuade them to do this.

The first is to create a product that is so powerful, and which is needed by so many people, that affiliates automatically recognize it as a guaranteed money maker for them. This is an ideal situation but the problem is that it is difficult to come up with a product that achieves this effect. It is possible though, you just need to perform extensive market research and put sufficient time and resources into the creation of your product.

Another solution (the most common) is to contact the top affiliates in your niches and send them your product for free. Building up some sort of relationship with them (maybe through forums or their blog) before sending them your product is best, as otherwise your joint venture offer will likely end up in their trash folder along with the many others that they get sent every day.

2. Create a powerful sales funnel

The term ’sales funnel’ refers to the period of time between you getting someone’s name and email address and them buying your highest priced product.

Here is an example of a powerful sales funnel:

Your visitor signs up for a free report and are then redirected to an $37 upsell. Following this he is sent a series of emails that contain useful information but which also promote a $97 product. Next, he is added into another autoresponder series that promote a $297 product, and this can go on until he buys a really highly priced product, say at $5000.

The above example is based on a visitor who always goes for your upsell, for those who don’t purchase your upsell, you would implement a different path until he becomes a buyer.

Affiliates will send more traffic your way when they realize how powerful your marketing funnel is and how much money they make with your products compared to the competition.

Finally, try not to over complicate the whole process. The more complex you make it, the less chance there is of you actually following through with it all of the way. Also, if it is too complex, you confuse both affiliates and prospects – which is something that you want to avoid at all costs.

This is good advice, and I have personally used the tactics set out in this article to market my own products. I’ve created many products and websites in the Internet marketing niche, and other niche markets as well.
